Sorry about not having had time earlier this week to blog. Anyone with elderly parents can understand how sometimes things can become a bit hectic. My mother lives with us and needed to have cararact surgery for one of her eyes on Tuesday. Although my husband could have taken her to the hospital, she felt better having me there, so I was off Tuesday for her surgery and Wednesday for her follow up visits. The surgery went well , and she is pleased with the results, she was especially pleased to hear from her doctor that she could resume driving today!
She is such a spunky lady and I thank God for having her for my mom every day! She taught me self confidence, a love of nature and humanity, and to always question things, never take anything for granted, and to always treat others the way you wish to be treated, but to never let someone take you for granted, to stand up for your rights, never take them for granted.
Any way, that's the reason for the hiatus, I'm back and will start posting again as soon as I get all this paperwork off my desk.... Arhhhhh, I hate being away from my job, the work just piles up!
